I haven't been doing ANY art at all. I've been looking for a job and realizing that with each rejection email I get the farther away from returning to school I am. I remember when this downward spiral of mine first started, art helped eleviate some of the frustration. Maybe it's time to get back to it.
I'm a 23 year old Art History major at The University of North Texas. I've been in love with art since a very young age, and my family is riddled with artists: painters, musicians, cartoonists, etc. I started college with hopes of being a Graphic Designer but once I was at the Art Institute taking the classes and thrown into the competition of it all, I was always stressed and lost my passion for it. it took me a year to realize that I would rather CREATE in my free time and pursue another degree (still in art of course) that wasn't as stressful. Art is my happy place and I'd prefer to keep it happy. lol
